Facebook Live Streaming Requirements
As of June 10th 2024 Facebook launched new requirements that Facebook accounts and Pages must meet before an account can stream live on Facebook. The new requirements are as follows:
- The Facebook account must be at least 60 days old
- The Facebook Page or professional mode profile must have at least 100 followers

This change means that for personal profiles, your account must be older than 60 days to stream to it. For Pages and professional mode profiles, this also means a minimum follower count of 100 is required in order to live stream to it.
As a result, if your Page does not meet this requirement after June 10th 2024, you will be unable to stream. This may result in a "Permissions error" occurring in vMix when attempting to stream to it.
Please note that this is not a vMix limitation. These restrictions have been put in place by Facebook directly and unfortunately there is no way to bypass them. If you are unable to meet the follower count or profile requirements enforced by Facebook, we recommend streaming using an alternative platform such as YouTube.
